System Layout – Example 2 – Two Translators/Multiple Expanders

In this example system layout, the system comprises:

• Addressable Panel (running Hochiki’s ESP protocol with full CHQ-POM support)
• Two ESP Loops (127 addresses per loop)
• Two TRH Translator Modules, both hard-wired to a separate ESP Loop
• Several EXP Expander Modules, creating two mesh networks and extending the radio signal from the Translators
• Several wireless field devices communicating either with the Expanders or directly with the Translator

Suggested Application: Building with two distinct areas for detection, such as two floors or two wings, where two loops of devices and two mesh networks operating independently is beneficial.

NOTE: Each field device and the Translator itself will be assigned a loop address from the active loop.

NOTE: Each Expander requires a 24 VDC power supply.
