System Layout – Example 1 – One Translator on One Loop

In this example system layout, the system comprises:

• Addressable Fire Alarm Control Panel (running Hochiki’s ESP protocol with full CHQ-POM support)
• One ESP Loop (127 addresses)
• One TRH Translator Module, hard-wired to the ESP Loop
• Several wireless field devices communicating directly with the Translator

Suggested Application: Small, single storey building, where additional Expanders and a mesh network are not required.

NOTE: Each field device and the Translator itself will be assigned a loop address from the active loop.
